An Alabama man visiting Panama City Beach, Florida for Bike Week was killed in a motorcycle accident.  He ran into a motorcycle that was traveling in front of him that stopped to turn.

The victim appeared to be speeding before the accident but exactly how fast will not be known until the investigation is complete. Humphries said officials are conducting an accident reconstruction and those results along with the medical examiner’s report should take about two months.

He was airlifted to Dothan Medical Center.  His injuries were too severe and he died at the hospital.  The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.  He was 46-years-old.  Florida law does not require helmets for people over the age of 18.  The police are still investigating the accident.
