Last Sunday night a Bon Secour man died in a vehicle crash as police pursued him after a domestic disturbance report. He was reportedly driving at an excessive speed when his vehicle went off the road and crashed into some trees. He was instantly killed in the crash.
The motor vehicle accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on Fort Morgan Road near the intersection of Henrietta Fulford Place, two miles west of Alabama 59. The high-speed police chase lasted for about one mile before the suspect ran off the road. It is still unclear about whether or not the crash was deliberate. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and there was no evidence in the car that he had been drinking alcohol.
